Voor ID Logistics te Willebroek zoeken we een (ervaren) truck controller. Als truck controller ben jij verantwoordelijke voor een optimale dagelijkse planning van de ritten en controleer je de chauffeurs en routes op tijdigheid en juistheid. ID Logistics is een wereldwijde logistieke dienstverlener met klanten in diverse branches. ID Logistics Benelux biedt haar klanten totaaloplossingen op logistiek gebied: van douane-activiteiten tot transport management, van warehousing (inbound-opslag-outbound) tot uitgebreide Value Added Services.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

efficient daily planning and follow-up of routes
management and guidance of a portion of the routes (FTL, DIS, DISK)
monitoring the execution of routes for timeliness and accuracy
adjusting routes and instructing drivers or customers as needed
coordinating transport via own vehicles and external partners
closely monitoring return loads and pickups for optimal utilization of loading capacity
ensuring timely departure of drivers and correct and timely delivery of priority shipments
consulting with planners to reschedule routes in case of driver absence
making clear agreements with customers about pickup planning and volumes
clear communication with internal departments to ensure smooth cooperation
ensuring all stops are correctly logged in the TMS system
anticipating irregularities such as breakdowns, waiting times, or refusals and proactively working on solutions
timely informing drivers about any route changes and correctly processing them in the system
responsible for compiling and updating route files, loading and unloading lists
checking the completeness and quality of submitted route documents

Vereisten:

Bachelors or equivalent in Transport, Logistiek or Expeditie
first work experience in a logistics environment
fluent in Dutch and English
knowledge of French is a plus
strong administrative skills
proficiency in MS Office
experience with modern logistics planning systems is a plus
