Test engineer automotive (powertrain)

• Investigate root causes of technical problems based on input from various monitoring systems and direct feedback from test drivers
• Perform updates to in-vehicle control modules and configure them according to the applicable software BOM
• Identify electrical faults at vehicle level
• Work closely with internal departments, test drivers and technicians in the workshop
• Accurately record test results in designated tracking systems and provide necessary reporting
• Regular consultation with the R&D department

• Master diploma in automotive, electronics or mechatronics
• Strong affinity with testing in embedded software
• Familiar with Vector CAN-case and DET Software
• Ability to diagnose complex electrical and software faults in a dynamic test environment
• Team player who can effectively switch between project partners, drivers and engineers
• Excellent command of Dutch and English (both oral and written)
• Knowledge and/or interest in cars is an extra asset
