Functieomschrijving:

As a Teamlead Logistiek, you will work the night shift in a European Distribution Centre located in Temse. You will lead operational processing of incoming goods, manage a team, and coordinate activities with fellow team leaders. You must have experience in a similar position, knowledge of supply chain processes, and strong people management and communication skills in both Dutch and English. You will also ensure safety, quality, and efficient planning and execution of tasks.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

Work organisation: Aligning resources efficiently with the order planning to ensure effective and continuous workload
Managing warehouse operations such as starting up and shutting down
Drawing up leave schedules
Coordinating with other teams in case of over- or undercapacity
People management: Lead team members towards common goals
Providing development, guidance, feedback, and facilities to employees
Incident management: Respond immediately to incidents and problems
Carrying out minor interventions on machines
Monitoring major interventions
Communication: Ensuring the correct and complete flow of relevant information
Follow-up of outgoing shipments
Projects
Quality assurance
Security and safety

Vereisten:

You have experience in a similar position (i.e. you have experience in leading a team)
You have knowledge of the Inbound and Supply Chain process (through work experience in a logistics environment)
You have strong people management skills
You have strong communication skills in Dutch and English
You can work independently
You have experience with WMS systems and automation
You are customer and solution oriented
You have an eye for safety and quality
You are willing to work in the nightshift
