Functieomschrijving:

Store host position at IKEA Delft, being the first face customers see when entering the store. The role involves answering initial customer questions, directing them within the store, and alternating with supervising in Smaland (children's play area). Part of the Shopping Experience team working 24 hours per week.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions
Work in Smaland (supervised play area for children)
Organize and participate in extra activities during school holidays such as crafts and scavenger hunts
Work across different Customer Relations departments to reduce wait times and exceed customer expectations

Vereisten:

Customer-focused and proactive approach
Ability to work in a busy and hectic environment
Willingness to perform physical work
Team player who enjoys working with children
Strong communication skills
Fluent in Dutch and good command of English
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Willingness to work extra during holiday periods
Initiative-taking, independent, and able to set the right priorities
Stress-resistant and accustomed to working in a hectic retail environment
Willing to fill in on another department when needed
Declaration of Good Conduct (VOG) for working in Smaland
