Functieomschrijving:

For a company in Herzele specialized in selling building materials and tools, we are looking for a store manager.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

Plan, coordinate, and direct store activities
Ensure optimal staff scheduling in the store
Maintain the store's appearance and follow visual merchandising guidelines
Make strategic purchases from various suppliers and monitor the range and margin
Actively support the store team in sales conversations and sharing product knowledge
Advise customers on products and services, including cross- and upselling
Ensure excellent customer experience and high customer satisfaction
Control store inventory and place timely orders via Odoo
Identify trends in demand and report stock shortages to the supervisor
Coordinate inventories and ensure accurate stock registrations
Coach and guide store staff to develop their skills
Organize training on products and sales techniques
Motivate the team to achieve sales targets
Analyze sales results and report figures to the supervisor
Identify improvement points and implement process optimizations

Vereisten:

Three years of experience in a leadership role in the retail or building materials sector
Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Odoo
Experience in managing purchasing processes
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Customer-oriented attitude and commercial insight
Good knowledge of inventory management and store management
Fluent communication, both oral and written
Results-oriented and proactive
Team player with an inspiring leadership style
Flexible and able to handle stress well
