Safety & Security Advisor

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers
• Inform and train employees on safety regulations
• Identify and mitigate risks
• Support department heads and Store Manager
• Limit theft and fraud
• Develop and implement safety and security strategies
• Conduct investigations to improve employee well-being
• Organize first aid and emergency response teams
• Liaise with official institutions
• Maintain safety systems
• Manage budgets related to prevention and safety
• Serve as secretary of the prevention committee
• Conduct compliance checks
• Maintain safety and security administration

• Interest in interior design and daily home life
• Proven problem-solving skills and decision-making in a fast-changing retail environment
• Diploma of prevention advisor level 2 or 1
• Additional certificate of environmental coordinator B and/or safety coordinator is a plus
• Good knowledge of current legislation regarding internal and external safety
• Ability to challenge colleagues and oneself to exceed customer expectations and optimize work methods
• Alignment with IKEA values

• Proficiency in regional shop languages and English
• Willingness to work on Saturdays in exchange for a day off during the week
