Als Quality & Environment Manager ben jij het geweten van onze kwaliteit en duurzaamheid. Je inspireert een gedreven team van 9 specialisten om elke dag de lat hoger te leggen voor voedselveiligheid en hygiëne. Door onze sterke groei krijg jij de kans om dit team in de toekomst verder uit te bouwen. Als strategisch MT-lid in dagdienst vorm je de brug tussen de plant en groepsniveau. Een rol met impact, waarin jouw visie op verbetering direct bijdraagt aan onze gezamenlijke groei.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

  • Kwaliteitsbewaking: Borgt een gedragen kwaliteitssysteem (HACCP) en leidt team door IFS-, ACS- en klantenaudits
  • Strategische Groei: Als MT-lid meedenken over toekomst organisatie en expertise inzetten voor complexe verbeterprojecten
  • Coachend Leiderschap: Team ondersteunen bij dagelijkse issues op de vloer
  • samenwerken met HR aan duurzame groei en inzetbaarheid medewerkers
  • Duurzaamheid & Milieu: Trekken kar op gebied van sustainability
  • toezicht houden op optimale werking eigen waterzuiveringsinstallatie
  • Relatiebeheer: Professioneel aanspreekpunt voor zowel klanten als leveranciers

Vereisten:

  • HBO/WO werk- en denkniveau (richting Food of Kwaliteit)
  • Minimaal 3 jaar leidinggevende ervaring binnen de proces- of levensmiddelenindustrie
  • Ervaring in de beverage-sector is een mooie plus
  • Natuurlijke coach die mensen enthousiasmeert

  • 90% Gemba (working on-site): visible presence on the quays, monitoring activities, conducting outdoor audits
  • Quality Control & SOPs: knowing Standard Operating Procedures thoroughly, checking correct implementation, making adjustments where needed
  • Safety First: providing explanations to operational staff using Safety Instruction Cards (VIK's), auditing, coaching, and advising
  • Improvement culture: working according to the PDCA principle (Plan-Do-Check-Act), spotting risks, making improvement proposals, making audit results visually clear for management
  • Supervision & Coaching: responsible for sharpening safety awareness among dockworkers, drivers, and operators
  • Reporting: ensuring smooth daily communication with management and QO/QM regarding actions to be taken
  • Training: providing instructions and short training sessions (toolbox talks) on the work floor to keep procedural knowledge up-to-date
