Product Manager – Aankoper is responsible for purchasing and managing a diverse product assortment to meet customer needs. The role includes determining the product range, monitoring purchasing processes, analyzing sales, maintaining supplier agreements, and improving administrative processes. Additionally, the job involves motivating sellers, collaborating with the web team, and tracking market trends.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

Responsible for purchasing and managing part of the extensive offline and online assortment
determining assortment and presenting it effectively to customers and sellers
decision-making on promotional products
monitoring the purchasing process from order to delivery
analyzing sales
maintaining agreements with suppliers
tracking market and price developments
presenting products internally to motivate sellers
collaborating with the webshop team to ensure online availability
improving administrative purchasing processes
gaining market knowledge
informing the sales team
monitoring market trends
conducting competitor research.

Vereisten:

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in economics) or equivalent through experience
at least 2 years of experience as a buyer or product manager
strong negotiation skills with a win-win approach
excellent communication skills
proficient in numbers and analytical thinking
ability to work autonomously while having good team spirit
strong coordination skills and ability to prioritize
highly accurate and efficient with focus on quality
proficient in oral and written French and English
German is a plus
advanced Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
experience with ERP business software is a plus
ability to make independent decisions.
