Functieomschrijving:

The packaging manager is the first point of contact within the department and leads the team of packaging operators while supporting them where needed. The role involves sorting deviating products, operating packaging and labeling machines, ensuring quality, and coordinating staff rotations. The manager also handles minor technical issues and ensures compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

Supervise and support the team of packaging operators
Sort out deviating products and operate packaging and labeling machines
Print correct labels and check the quality of packaged products
Ensure smooth product changes and coordinate staff rotation during lunch breaks
Intervene in minor technical issues and report major issues to the department head
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene regulations

Vereisten:

Experience in a leadership role
Knowledge of a production environment or packaging installations
Ability to organize and communicate
Responsibility and problem-solving skills
Result-oriented work approach
Flexibility to work in two shifts (6:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00) and sometimes on weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
