Functieomschrijving:

As a train mechanic, you will start your day with your colleagues during the day start. Over a cup of coffee or tea, you will review the planning. What needs to be done and what is urgent? These tasks are mechanical (50%) and electrical (50%). Every working day is different, so you will never get bored. During the day, you will check the functionalities within the locomotive and report them. You will perform maintenance and repair work on the trains. You will do all this according to the work methods with tools, machines, and aids.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

perform maintenance and repairs on trains
check functionalities within the locomotive and report them
carry out maintenance and repair work on trains according to work methods with tools, machines, and aids
perform checks based on work orders and work descriptions
solve simple faults and defects
record faults in a report
coordinate with supervisor on analysis and repair work to be carried out
think about improvements to work methods, techniques, and safety

Vereisten:

MBO2 diploma (or higher) in the technical field
mechatronics is a plus
willingness to work in an irregular schedule resembling a 5-shift system
proficiency in Dutch language in speech and writing
