Functieomschrijving:

As a MIG MAG welder at NS, you will be responsible for repairing components using various welding techniques, mainly MAG and TIG, and working with steel, aluminum and stainless steel. Your work will contribute to keeping the trains in the Netherlands running safely. You will also perform sheet metal and bench work, preparing materials for welding. NS offers a comprehensive induction period, good guidance, and opportunities for growth and development.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

repairing components using various welding techniques, mainly MAG and TIG
working with steel, aluminum and stainless steel
preparing and assembling materials
performing MIG MAG welding work according to drawings
inspecting and checking the quality and dimensions of welds
sheet metal and bench work

Vereisten:

knowledge of welding procedures, welding equipment and materials
MBO 2 (or higher) diploma in technology
possession of a VCA (or willingness to obtain it)
minimum MIG/MAG level 2 diploma (NIL or equivalent)
good command of the Dutch language
