Medewerker ferry afdeling

• Arrange all papers and documentation (import/export) for trailers entering and leaving the terminal
• Create the official 'manifests' listing which cargo goes with which ship
• Be the first point of contact for drivers, port services, and the ships themselves, both by phone and at the counter
• Coordinate closely with colleagues on the quay (stevedores) to ensure loading and unloading of ships runs smoothly and according to plan
• Handle all administrative tasks of the ship agent (formalities and notifications)
• Report any damage to a trailer or cargo immediately with a proper damage report

• Experience in the logistics sector (hard requirement)
• Fluent in English and German (basic French or Spanish is a bonus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Flexible hours and willing to work in shift work (mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends)
• Accurate, solution-oriented, and comfortable in a hectic, international port environment
