Functieomschrijving:

Zet jouw E&I-expertise in voor de voedselproductie van morgen bij een pionier in Sas van Gent. Voor een innovatieve speler in de duurzame voedingsmiddelenindustrie in Sas van Gent zijn wij op zoek naar een gedreven Maintenance Technician met een sterke focus op E&I. In deze rol ben jij verantwoordelijk voor onder andere: onderhoud, inspectierondes, E&I optimalisatie en projectondersteuning.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

Maintenance & Inspection: performing daily control rounds, logging equipment measurement values, and making immediate adjustments where necessary
responsible for all installations
Troubleshooting & Analysis: investigating technical problems and diagnosing complex failures
experienced in configuring and calibrating sensors, transmitters, and electrical systems
Project Support: providing technical support for improvement projects and closely involved in mechanical and electrical commissioning of new equipment
Process Optimization: actively thinking about how to streamline processes, reduce costs, and increase machine efficiency
Safety & Planning: preparing work through work permits and LOTO procedures
ensuring a clean and safe work environment according to applicable food safety standards
Administration & Reporting: accurately recording all work activities in the CMMS system and creating reports in Excel and Word
Collaboration: working closely with the Maintenance Manager and operators on the floor
also guiding external contractors performing work on site

Vereisten:

E&I Specialist with strong background and extensive experience in Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation (E&I)
Technically qualified with relevant MBO education (level 4) such as BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma
Certified in Safety with at least NEN3140 VP certification (NEN3840 certificate strongly preferred)
Preferably experienced as a Maintenance Technician in the food industry with affinity for food technology
Analytical & solution-oriented with experience investigating complex problems and configuring/calibrating electrical systems, sensors, and transmitters
System-savvy with daily experience working accurately with a CMMS system and creating reports in Excel and Word
Safety-first mindset with responsibility for health and safety of self and others, familiar with procedures like LOTO (Lock Out, Tag Out)
Extra Skills: Possession of forklift and aerial work platform certificates is a big plus
