As a Maintenance Intern you will help the maintenance team keep the hotel in good working order. Vertiq Savings: many discounts on a variation of online webshops Monthly internship allowance of 650EUR (based on a full-time internship) What you will do during this internship: General Repairs: Help fix minor issues like broken lights, leaking taps, or clogged drains. Report major problems to the senior staff. Routine Checks: Inspect equipment and building systems to find and fix small problems before they become bigger. Assist with tasks like fixing machines or testing safety systems. Guest Support: Respond to guest complaints about things like faulty air conditioners or broken fixtures. Ensure repairs are done quickly and properly. Safety: Help ensure the hotel meets safety rules and guidelines. Be ready to assist in emergencies like power outages or leaks. Tools and Records: Keep track of tools and supplies used for maintenance. Help maintain records of completed repairs and inspections. Teamwork: Work with other hotel departments (e.g., housekeeping, front office) to solve maintenance issues. Support senior maintenance staff with their tasks. Who are you? Basic English is a must, Dutch is a plus Basic knowledge of repair work (e.g., plumbing, electrical, or carpentry). Problem-solving and attention to detail. Ability to work well alone or in a team. Good communication skills. Physical ability to do manual work and stand for long periods.
