Prior knowledge of the food industry is an advantage

Knowledge and insight into the operation of installations and machines
Good knowledge of rules and regulations regarding hygiene, environment, food, and safety

Functieverantwoordelijkheden

Operating a filling line according to taught standards and systems
Monitoring product, packaging, and filling line quality, including regular line checks and tasting (drink)yoghurt products
Performing technical interventions on the line: reporting defects and repairing where possible
performing preventive maintenance (greasing the machine and other tasks)
Performing cleaning tasks on the line and in your work environment
Hygiene is a priority for food safety
Taking ownership of your line: determining basic line conditions and monitoring parameters
following up and managing your line according to company vision and using digital tools
writing, creating, and sharing work instructions after training
creating centerlines with support from the Process Lead

Maximize loss reduction
Make continuous improvement proposals (safety, work processes, etc.)
Provide valuable feedback and serve as an important role model
Independently identify losses, determine the cause, and resolve them
Ensure daily completion of necessary reporting tools/boards
Actively work in the team and step in where needed, but primarily responsible for coordination, development, and coaching of the team
Lead the operators of your lines (directing, controlling, adjusting, assessing, coaching, and motivating)
Attend job interviews for permanent hires

Actively monitoring and analyzing crucial warehouse KPIs such as loading times, inventory accuracy, productivity and error rates
Identifying bottlenecks and initiating improvement actions (continuous improvement) to increase efficiency and quality
Daily work with and supervision of crucial logistics systems such as Easy WMS (Warehouse Management System), SAP and other logistics tools (COLOS/CSMS)
Performing first interventions for technical failures or IT issues on the floor and escalating them correctly where necessary
Coaching, guidance and evaluation of team members
Ensuring correct and efficient staffing within the 5-shift system
