De Sodexo Nederland HR-directeur geeft leiding aan de volledige HR-agenda van Sodexo Nederland en waarborgt consistente, effectieve en mensgerichte HR dienstverlening voor de gehele 'employee lifecycle'. De functie voorziet de organisatie van strategisch HR-leiderschap en vertaalt bedrijfsdoelstellingen naar praktische, impactvolle oplossingen op het gebied van mens en organisatie, die bijdragen aan prestaties, groei en organisatie verandering. Deze rol is cruciaal voor het bouwen aan een inclusieve, verbonden en prestatiegerichte cultuur door empathie, een sterke relatie met stakeholders en een goed beoordelingsvermogen gecombineerd met een duidelijke focus op resultaat. De HR-directeur Nederland stuurt een bekwaam HR-team aan en ontwikkelt dit verder, versterkt leiderschap en talent binnen de gehele organisatie. Daarnaast zorgt hij/zij ervoor dat HR-beleid, processen en ontwikkelprogramma's aansluiten op de standaarden van de Groep en de lokale behoeften van de organisatie.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden

Ensure high-quality and consistent HR service delivery across the country, supported by clear processes, strong execution, and appropriate service levels
Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, tools, and practices, in line with group standards and local business needs
Act as a trusted business partner for senior management by providing strategic HR advice, supporting workforce planning, and enabling informed decisions on personnel matters
Build constructive relationships with employee representatives and trade unions, ensuring effective dialogue, regulatory compliance, and stable labor relations
Lead talent management, recruitment, and employer value proposition initiatives by translating labor market insights and business needs into effective and cost-efficient HR strategies
Manage and monitor key HR indicators – such as employee engagement, retention, development, and productivity – and translate insights into targeted action plans
Lead the HR aspects of organizational changes (including integration, harmonization, and, where relevant, mergers, acquisitions or TUPE processes) with careful stakeholder management and attention to employee impact
Manage the HR budget responsibly and identify opportunities to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and long-term value creation

10 years of experience
Proven track record in a senior HR leadership role, with the ability to translate business strategy into practical and effective people and organization solutions
Strong relationship-building skills, with a natural ability to connect with people at all levels, gain trust, and influence with credibility and empathy
A people-oriented and socially engaged leader who combines warmth, accessibility, and exclusivity with decisiveness and a clear focus on results
Experience leading organizational change, labor relations, and complex stakeholder environments, with resilience and sound judgment
Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in English, with the ability to bring people together and move conversations forward constructively
A good understanding of business operations and personnel needs, preferably in the hospitality sector, retail, food industry, or another service-oriented environment
Demonstrated success in improving employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and business results through people-centric leadership
Willingness to travel regularly within the Netherlands and occasionally internationally
