Functieomschrijving:

As Gate Bediende, you will ensure smooth and efficient container traffic processes at the terminal in a dynamic environment. You will interact with drivers daily and provide administrative and logistical support.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

Coordinating incoming and outgoing container flows and supporting drivers in gate processes
Resolving problems via intercom or at the desk
Keeping systems up-to-date and correcting data when necessary
Processing bookings and working with customs and inspection authorities
Drafting loading lists and managing bookings
Checking required customs documentation and approvals
Collaborating with shipping companies for smooth shipment
Drafting reports after ship departures
Keeping records of operational statistics on productivity, costs and safety
Processing invoicing for additional services like inspections and repairs

Vereisten:

First experience in an administrative or logistics environment
Degree in logistics or maritime management is a plus
Accurate, administratively skilled and communicatively strong
Fluent in Dutch and English
French and German are a plus
Comfortable with routine and variable workload pressures
Teamwork oriented and strictly adheres to safety procedures
Flexible for shift work in two shifts from Monday to Friday

Prettig om te hebben:
