Customer care medewerker import

• Responsible for handling shipments arriving in the port of Antwerp
• Guiding customers (B2B) through the various operational steps of the import process: arranging required documentation, release at terminals, cost handling
• With your global contacts at the agencies, you ensure the necessary corrections in manifests (goods lists/port/destination)
• You help ensure that containers do not stand for too long & also for optimal recovery of return equipment
• You report directly to the Teamlead Import Customer Service

• First stable administrative work experience
• Customer service experience (B2B) is a plus
• Affinity with sea freight and logistics is a strong advantage
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Knowledge of French is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Stress-resistant and functions well under tight deadlines
• Solution-oriented mentality and knows how to prioritize
• Strong administrative skills and works accurately
• Good knowledge of MS Office and other relevant systems
• Team player who contributes to a positive work atmosphere
