As a Casemanager Verzuim, you play a crucial role in promoting a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring the sustainable employability of employees. You help create a conducive atmosphere for staff by coaching managers, advising on absenteeism, and overseeing reintegration processes within IKEA Netherlands. The role balances fieldwork with hybrid opportunities, operating regionally across units and occasionally meeting in Haarlem for team discussions. This position allows for professional growth, with opportunities for training and skills development while actively contributing to the organization’s health and sustainability initiatives.
Functieverantwoordelijkheden:
Coaches and supports managers and colleagues throughout the absenteeism process from A to Z
Advises on interventions to shorten absenteeism duration
Acts as sparring partner and advisor on absenteeism for the management team in units
Collaborates with People & Culture teams to prevent absenteeism
Identifies risks and bottlenecks and proposes improvements
Provides insight into the financial impact of absenteeism and translates laws and regulations into practical solutions
Promotes sustainable employability and contributes to IKEA Netherlands' health policy
Works with company doctors, external case managers, and other stakeholders
Actively embodies IKEA values and acts as a cultural ambassador within the organization.
Vereisten:
You are proactive, critical and able to collaborate within a large dynamic retail organization
You communicate clearly, act with integrity and are result-oriented
You have HBO work and thinking level and knowledge of absenteeism, labor law, and social security, preferably through a completed ROV training
You bring at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a case manager and actively share this knowledge and experience with your team.
