Physically fit (lifting up to 25kg)
No problem working with meat products (chicken and pork)
No problem following strict hygiene rules
Experience in the food industry as an operator is a big plus

Functieverantwoordelijkheden

Machine management: setting up, operating, and converting packaging installations, robots, and palletizing lines
Technique: tracing (small) malfunctions and performing first-line interventions
Teamwork: supervising assistant operators and consulting closely with your supervisor
Quality: monitoring progress, registering special circumstances, and performing quality controls (including tasting!)

Je hebt bij voorkeur al ervaring in administratie, customer service of planning

Je werkt op diverse spoorwegsystemen en maakt vrachtbrieven op

Complete all necessary quality documents
Perform and register selective controls according to instructions from quality assistant and/or manager
Perform FPI measurements as requested by shift leader if needed
Explain and support operators in performing rework, working closely with quality assistant

Quality Control & SOPs: knowing Standard Operating Procedures thoroughly, checking correct implementation, making adjustments where needed
Safety First: providing explanations to operational staff using Safety Instruction Cards (VIK's), auditing, coaching, and advising
Improvement culture: working according to the PDCA principle (Plan-Do-Check-Act), spotting risks, making improvement proposals, making audit results visually clear for management
Supervision & Coaching: responsible for sharpening safety awareness among dockworkers, drivers, and operators
Reporting: ensuring smooth daily communication with management and QO/QM regarding actions to be taken
Training: providing instructions and short training sessions (toolbox talks) on the work floor to keep procedural knowledge up-to-date
