Discover rewarding Web/Database Intermediate Developer jobs, a crucial career path at the intersection of application logic and data management. Professionals in this role are the backbone of dynamic, data-driven web applications, possessing a hybrid skill set that bridges front-end user experience, server-side business logic, and robust database architecture. As an intermediate developer, you are beyond entry-level, taking on more complex tasks, contributing to system design, and ensuring the seamless integration and performance of all application layers. Typically, your core responsibilities involve designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications and their underlying databases. You will write clean, efficient code for both the front-end, using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, and the back-end, utilizing technologies such as Java Spring Boot, .NET, Node.js, or Python Django. A significant part of the role focuses on database work: designing schemas, writing optimized SQL queries, managing data integrity, and performing migrations on relational systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle. You ensure the application's data layer is secure, performant, and accurately serves the business logic. Common daily duties include collaborating within an Agile team through stand-ups and sprint planning, debugging and refactoring existing code, and participating in code reviews to uphold coding standards. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, often working with APIs, middleware, and sometimes messaging systems like Kafka. A key expectation is to proactively solve problems, optimize application performance, and contribute to the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from concept to deployment and maintenance. To succeed in Web/Database Intermediate Developer jobs, a specific skill set is required. Employers typically seek proficiency in at least one core back-end programming language (Java, C#, Python) and a front-end JavaScript framework. Solid, hands-on experience with relational databases, including advanced SQL and schema design, is non-negotiable. Understanding of version control with Git, RESTful API development, and basic DevOps principles is standard. Beyond technical prowess, strong analytical thinking, clear communication for collaborating with team members and stakeholders, and a commitment to continuous learning are essential traits. This role is ideal for developers who enjoy full-stack versatility with a deep emphasis on structuring and manipulating the data that powers modern web platforms. Explore these pivotal opportunities to advance your technical career and build the digital experiences of tomorrow.
