About the Kidstrong Assistant General Manager role

A significant portion of the role involves active sales and marketing duties, such as managing leads through a CRM system, conducting outbound call drives to prospective families, and scheduling events like birthday parties and camps to maximize center profitability. Maintaining a clean, safe, and brand-consistent facility through daily, weekly, and monthly upkeep is also a core operational task.

Beyond business operations, this profession is fundamentally about people leadership. Assistant General Managers are responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, and evaluating coaching staff. They create a culture of continuous learning, using training platforms to support the professional development of their team. They conduct regular assessments of class quality and coach performance, providing constructive feedback to ensure every coach embodies the center’s DNA of excellence. This leadership extends to parents and children as well, requiring the building of strong, trusting relationships with families.

Crucially, this role is not purely managerial; it is also hands-on. A professional in this field must be comfortable stepping onto the floor to coach children, typically ranging from toddlers to pre-teens.
