Furthermore, Embedded Testing Module Leads are instrumental in conducting technical reviews of requirements, designs, and test artifacts, and they perform critical coverage analysis to ensure all code and requirements are adequately tested. The typical skill set for these jobs is both deep and broad. A strong foundation in programming languages like Embedded C and C++ is essential for understanding the system under test and for creating sophisticated test harnesses. Expertise in requirement-based testing and model-based testing methodologies is highly common. Familiarity with safety-critical standards, such as those used in avionics, automotive, or medical fields, is a frequent requirement, guiding the entire V&V process to achieve necessary certification.
