About the Cook 2 role

A Cook 2 is an experienced culinary professional who serves as a senior line cook in a commercial kitchen, typically found in hotels, resorts, fine dining restaurants, and large-scale food service operations. Unlike entry-level kitchen positions, Cook 2 roles demand a higher level of technical skill, independence, and the ability to manage multiple stations during high-volume service. Professionals in Cook 2 positions are responsible for preparing a wide range of food items, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, according to guest orders and established production standards.
