In COMSOL we develop market-leading simulation software for technology companies, universities and research institutes. Our flagship product, COMSOL Multiphysics®, is used for the simulation of engineering applications in almost all technical sectors and scientific disciplines. COMSOL® software users are engineers and scientists in multiple fields who need simulations to achieve their goals and drive innovation. They increase the autonomy of electric vehicles, ensure the accuracy of medical devices, reduce CO2 emissions in heavy industry, explore space and much more, thus influencing the future of our world in various ways. Comsol Srl is looking for a Sales Development Representative to be hired part-time (4-6 hours) as soon as possible at the Brescia office, who will support our growth by identifying and initiating business opportunities for both potential and existing customers in Italy. This position involves close personal collaboration with COMSOL salespeople, marketing staff and managers. A successful candidate will benefit from a development path and acquisition of experience in sales in a highly technical and industrial environment, which could lead to a career as a salesperson.

Responsabilità:

  • Contact numerous incoming leads daily via phone and email to qualify their purchase intent
  • Identify new contacts and potential customers in a targeted manner using marketing tools and professional social networks (LinkedIn, Sales Navigator)
  • Create qualified sales opportunities for account managers to close new sales
  • Support the entire sales process, including facilitating calls and meetings between potential customers and account managers
  • Work closely with other Sales Development Representatives from other international offices, as well as colleagues from sales, applications and marketing

Requisiti:

  • Fascination with multiphysics simulation possibilities and strong interest in technology
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Italian and English (min. C1 or equivalent)
  • Successfully completed university studies (e.g., bachelor's degree in management engineering, communication sciences, economics, or equivalent)
  • In-depth knowledge of basic IT tools (Office package, Windows, conference call tools and messaging)
  • Work responsibly and in a customer-oriented manner
  • Professional experience in technical B2B sales or customer service, ideally with contacts with technology-oriented companies, research institutes or technically oriented universities, as well as familiarity with customer relationship management software (ERP/CRM) are an advantage
