Packaging buyer

• Manage the entire packaging procurement cycle, ensuring cost efficiency, material quality and supply chain robustness
• Manage purchases and negotiate purchasing conditions and manage the supplier portfolio for packaging material
• Launch tenders for new projects and constant scouting of alternative suppliers to optimize the quality-price ratio
• Carry out visits to suppliers' production sites to verify plants, production processes and technological capacity
• Constant verification of materials available in the warehouse to prevent stock-outs and optimize supply flows
• Collaboration with quality control to ensure that materials meet the required technical specifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a Buyer role (preferably in packaging or related sectors)
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken), necessary for managing international suppliers
• Availability for business trips, both in Italy and abroad, for audits and visits to production partners and for trade fairs
• Strong negotiation skills, result orientation and data analysis skills
• Upper secondary education
