Description du poste:

The role involves laboratory testing and R&D within the field of geological mechanics, specifically developing software for simulating petroleum reservoirs and conducting physical measurements on geological samples.

Responsabilités:

Follow sample preparation
Perform Cpp and ultrasonic (Vp/Vs) measurements on an HP/HT triaxial cell adhering to predefined protocols
Assist in the interpretation of test results using Excel or Matlab tools
Write detailed test reports including conditions and results
Conduct calibration operations for measurement systems like pumps and sensors
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of triaxial cells
Monitor tests conducted on the WINTEC cell
Define test protocols
Adjust the acoustic listening system (EA)
Analyze measurement data and prepare reports.

Exigences:

BTS or DUT in Physical Measurements, Mechanical Engineering, Materials or Scientific Instrumentation
2 years of experience in a laboratory, especially with HP/HT triaxial cells
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Experience with Matlab for scientific data analysis
Experience with laboratory measurements on HP/HT triaxial cells
Good knowledge of physical properties of rocks, including seismic velocities, Cpp, and mechanical behavior under pressure/temperature
Experience with data acquisition, and handling pressure, temperature, and acoustic sensors
Calibration expertise for measurement systems
Knowledge in system maintenance, cleaning, and replacing seals
Knowledge or hands-on experience with AE/EA (Acoustic Emission) systems
Analytical skills with scientific rigor in protocol adherence
Ability to write technical reports and interpret results independently
Teamwork skills.

Souhaitable:

Experience with AE/EA (Acoustic Emission)
Familiarity with seismic velocities and mechanical behaviors of rocks under extreme conditions.
