The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Technical Editor/Publisher to join our Customer Services organization based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from Maintenance, Maintenance Planning, Service Bulletins, and Flight Operations. Reporting directly to the Manager, Head of Technical Publications Operations, you will be a key contributor to our team and will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of our aircraft documentation.
Responsabilités
Take the lead on editing and publishing of essential aircraft Maintenance, Maintenance Planning Publications, Service Bulletins, and Flight Manuals
Employ industry standards, requirements, software and business rules to distribute publications electronically
Maintain and update processes and procedures related to the publishing of all maintenance, maintenance planning, service bulletins and operational documentation
Develop detailed plans for publication preparation and coordinate the printing and distribution of Flight Manuals with our vendors
Perform thorough publishing and quality control checks on all maintenance, maintenance planning, service bulletins and operational documentation. Maintain KPIs to track delivery on time
Establish action plans and schedules to minimize risks and ensure publications are completed on time and according to program requirements
Create and manage applicability Booleans to effectively manage aircraft configurations
Participate in applications testing, meetings and conference calls and contribute to other related duties as assigned.
Exigences
College degree in a relevant field and/or at least five (5) years of equivalent experience
Knowledge of XML, S1000D, Common Source Database (CSDB) and Arbortext Editor (an asset)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Take initiative, work effectively both on your own and collaboratively
Exceptional organizational skills, a systematic approach, and an unwavering commitment to accuracy
Comfortable and effective in a dynamic, rapidly changing work environment with tight deadlines
Strong proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Collaborative team member who can also demonstrate leadership, maintaining a professional and committed attitude
Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken
Possible on-call duties during week-ends and/or holiday seasons.
