Description du poste:

The e-commerce department is responsible for building and evolving the showcase portals of four of the Group’s houses: Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, and McQueen. As part of the rollout of the new headless e-commerce stack, a Core Platform team is being established to evolve the backend foundations supporting the delivery of the various e-commerce frontend products. The Tech Lead Back is responsible for the technical vision, implementation quality, and scalability of this foundational layer.

Responsabilités:

Design and evolve the architecture of shared backend components (e.g., APIs, sessions, micro-services..)
Define and enforce development best practices, testability, and security guidelines
Provide technical oversight for the Core Platform team, review code, validate pull requests
Define integration contracts, document features, support adoption across teams
Work closely with Delivery, SRE, DevOps, Security, and Product teams
Monitor reliability, performance, and reuse of the platform components

Exigences:

6–10 years in software engineering
At least 2+ years as a Tech Lead
Strong background in backend architecture, web APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD
Solid understanding of cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, GCP)
Familiarity with secure development, scalability, and observability standards
Ability to deliver quickly while maintaining high technical quality
Clear, structured communication and ability to lead by influence
Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving
Ability to lead, mentor, and challenge engineers across teams
Autonomy, proactivity, and accountability
Proficiency in both English and French
