We offer you a 6-month internship within the People & Culture (HR) department of the world leader in furniture! We give you the opportunity to learn and develop in the field of human resources by participating in the daily life of an establishment. You can count on solid supervision and you will be involved in projects that are close to our hearts. The internship can start as early as July.

Responsabilités:

Execute local tasks according to common People & Culture processes and annual cycles
Support recruitment and onboarding of the right talents with the right contracts
Support the strengthening of business skills, leadership capabilities, and performance by setting relevant goals and ensuring learning and training
Secure engagement and retention by understanding working conditions in all functions and acting in collaboration with the employee experience team
Contribute to administrative processes and ensure coordination between several national and regional support teams
Act as a local People & Culture point of contact by helping colleagues and managers respond to daily employee-related questions and challenges
Ensure that communication with local employers is consistent, well perceived, and based on the IKEA brand
Implement a labor relations plan that effectively manages all local interactions with colleagues and ensures that all areas of the unit respect labor relations principles and comply with local policies, procedures, and laws

Exigences:

Enrolled in a Belgian university or HEC, within the faculty of human resources management or psychology
Passionate about people and shares a strong belief in the potential of individuals
Acts as an ambassador of IKEA's culture and values
Confident and competent in involving employees throughout the People & Culture cycle
Experience in aspects like evaluation, encouragement, and ensuring colleague performance against organizational and individual goals
Ability to develop skills and leadership capabilities
Achieves goals, performs tasks, and obtains results
Works autonomously, takes initiatives, and responsibilities
Effectively expresses ideas and opinions in verbal and written communication
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of IKEA's corporate identity, core values, and vision
Language skills and flexibility during local opening hours are a requirement
