Description du poste:

The Database team consists of 5 people on site (internal and external). The team is responsible for managing the database platform regarding performance, management, planning and execution of Oracle and SQL Server database migrations. The main technologies used are based on Linux and Oracle (Exadata Cloud@Customer, Dataguard, RAC, Multitenant, Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA), Oracle Key Vault (OKV), etc.) as well as SQL Server databases.

Responsabilités:

Ensure the design, development, optimization, performance, support and advice on Oracle databases for internal applications and software packages
Manage and maintain Oracle ExaCC, ZDLRA and SQL Server databases, ensuring their availability, performance and security
Perform database installations, configurations and updates
Monitor database performance and implement optimization and tuning strategies
Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures
Quickly diagnose and resolve database-related problems
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions
Implement security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality
Develop and maintain documentation related to database configurations, processes and procedures
Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in database management

Exigences:

Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Several years of experience in Oracle database management
Very good knowledge of Oracle database administration (including Oracle RAC, pluggable databases, Dataguard, ZDLRA)
Technical skills and relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Administration of Oracle RDBMS on Unix/Linux systems (Oracle 19+ versions)
Oracle database migrations in different environments
Database support in critical environments
Physical design and SQL optimization
Unix/Linux shell scripting skills
Fluent in French (written and spoken)
Very good level of English
Great ability to adapt to new organizational or technical challenges

Souhaitable:

Knowledge of PostgreSQL
Knowledge of PL/SQL
General knowledge of the banking industry
