For our client, a claim is a decisive moment of trust. In the claims department, you are responsible for opening new claim files and answering questions about ongoing files. You advise clients in order to achieve an efficient and correct conclusion of the claim.

Responsabilités:

  • You are the main point of contact for our clients who wish to report a claim or who have questions about an ongoing claim file
  • You are responsible for the correct follow-up of claim files in the field of property (home damage) via incoming and/or outgoing telephone contacts
  • You open new claim files by telephone and guide the client throughout the process
  • You ask the right questions and proceed with a first analysis so that the claims manager can assess the coverage
  • You send the client the first letter confirming the opening of the file
  • You ensure a smooth transfer of information to the client
  • You search for information in existing files and explain the next steps to the client
  • You clearly communicate the client's expectations to the claims manager
  • You filter calls and transfer them to the claims manager at the right time
  • You work closely with the claims team
  • You call clients yourself to gather additional information or to give the client details on the progress of the claim file
  • When you are not online, you assist the claims managers by performing administrative tasks and/or processing written declarations.

Exigences:

  • You are in possession of a bachelor's or master's degree
  • You are curious and eager to learn
  • You are pragmatic and empathetic and concerned with following correct procedures
  • A first experience in a contact center or complaints department is an asset
  • You are very customer-oriented and want to find solutions for the customer, including detecting business opportunities
  • You are assertive and comfortable in oral and written communication in French and Dutch (A2 min.)
  • You have the patience to explain to customers the sometimes complex matter of insurance and procedures
  • You are flexible in your hours (daytime schedule during training, shift schedule after training and one Saturday per month).

Souhaitable:

A first experience in a contact center or complaints department is an asset.
