The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for an Airframe Stress Engineering Professional to join our Stress Engineering - Cockpit & Fuselage team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will be part of a specialized group within the engineering team and will support the A220 aircraft program activities. Your role as airframe stress engineering professional will be to perform airframe static, fatigue, Finite Element Modeling and damage tolerance analysis of the fuselage cell.

Responsabilités

Perform airframe static and fatigue analysis
Perform Finite Element Model analysis (FEM)
Perform damage tolerance analysis
Carry out / review structural substantiation analyses of the airframe
May be asked to coordinate activities with structural partners
Working closely with other departments including Liaison, Design, Projects and Airworthiness

Exigences

University degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering
Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in airframe integrity substantiation
Solid knowledge of NASTRAN, PATRAN, CATIA and MS Office is required
Good knowledge of the French and English languages (written and spoken) is required
Must be able to work autonomously and be a good team player

Souhaitable

Knowledge of NASGRO is an asset
Knowledge of Google suite is an asset
