As a Legal Intern, you will join the Legal team, made up of several people, whose role is to handle all legal matters for Betclic.

Responsabilités

  • Drafting and negotiating all types of contracts with Betclic's partners (confidentiality agreements, commercial contracts, IT contracts)
  • Participating in cross-functional projects or missions of the Legal Department (digitalization, contract management)
  • Conducting legal research and monitoring

Exigences

  • Student in a Master's program (Master 2) and wish to complete an end-of-studies internship
  • Curious and rigorous
  • Strong writing skills
  • Comfortable speaking in public
  • Interest in new technologies and the challenges of a digital environment
  • Good command of English
  • First experience in a law firm, IP consulting firm, IP department, or legal department of a company would be a plus

  • Accounting of funds/holdings under French GAAP including analysis of legal documents related to fund operations (liabilities/assets) and recording in accounting
  • Calculation of provisions for fees and interest on debt instruments and reconciliation with the management company
  • Accounting entry of all fees, invoices, and charges payable by the Funds
  • Monthly cash and securities reconciliation with the depositary
  • At the frequency defined in the Fund's regulations, preparation of the net asset value per share and sending of accounting documents to the client (balance sheet, inventory, general ledger...)
  • At year-end, preparation of financial statements and follow-up of the statutory auditors' audit
  • For holdings/GP, preparation of tax returns (tax packages...)
  • Preparation and transmission of Bank of France statistics
  • Assistance to the management company in preparing and sending capital call or distribution notices (including calculation of the amount to call/distribute)
