You will be responsible for configuration management of product modifications and will lead a team to design Cabin Interior products. You will supervise and guide product studies and participate in the continuous improvement of the products under your responsibility. Travel in France and abroad will be required.

Responsabilités

Identify technical characteristics of the mechanical system to be designed
Create sketches and assembly projects
Generate 2D and 3D plans under CATIA V5
Monitor product industrialization phases and manage evolutions
Develop the project respecting defined times and objectives
Guarantee technical expertise of the product in mechanical design
Ensure product definition complies with customer and aircraft manufacturer specifications
Plan study and definition work for products under your responsibility
Manage product evolutions and improvements ensuring configuration management conforms to aeronautical rules
Participate in technical meetings with customers and aircraft manufacturers
Provide upward reporting on project progress and resource needs
Verify consideration of aircraft manufacturer and regulatory requirements
Verify consideration of feedback from experience

Exigences

Several years of experience in a similar design role with a mechanical focus
Ability to lead a team on assigned work packages
Mastery of functional, geometric dimensioning and pre-dimensioning of structural parts
Mastery of CATIA V5 (volumetric and surface)
Mastery of MS Office
English: intermediate level (minimum B1)
Ability to meet commitments
Rigor and good organization
Ability to ensure compliance with specifications and schedule commitments for new products under development

Souhaitable

Knowledge of kinematics (electrical would be a plus)
Expertise in mechanical design (electrical routing would be a plus)
