Description du poste:

Join Sopra Steria, a major European Tech player with 51,000 employees across 30 countries, offering consulting, digital services, and solutions. This position focuses on database administration, optimization, and cloud data management within the Infrastructure & Security Services division.

Responsabilités:

Administration of the database server park
ensuring security and backup/restoration processes
documentation creation and maintenance
proposing and implementing performance optimization solutions
developing and maintaining administration and industrialization tools
validating new versions of database engines
handling Level N2 and N3 incidents
analyzing and addressing information system requests (advice, best practices recommendations)
supporting development teams with database deployments and cloud data management best practices.

Exigences:

At least 5 years of experience in database administration
mastery of DB2 LUW in Unix/Linux environments, particularly AIX
solid skills in automation and scripting (Shell, Bash/KornShell)
familiarity with other DBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL is appreciated
experience in Banking and Insurance sectors is a plus
degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or equivalent
knowledge of cloud database environments
autonomy, pragmatism, and rigor
strong relational skills
ability to work in multicultural environments
proficiency in English (oral and written).

Souhaitable:

Experience in the sectors of Banking and Insurance
familiarity with additional DBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
