Responsabilités:

  • The management of the assigned projects and/or cases.
  • Adherence to the general company processes
  • Telephone support: Implementing call-centre programs including the provision of patient, healthcare professional and funding bodies with telephone support. Current assistance lines focus on: funding and access issues, including private, public and special access programs
  • compliance programs
  • Administer and adhere to case-management protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, on-going patient follow-up, compliance, therapy disruption/discontinuation monitoring, adverse event reporting and liaison with primary healthcare providers
  • Implementing pharmaceutical and biotechnology related market research initiatives with physicians, patients, pharmacists or other allied health professionals
  • All patient programs are based on casework methods and include a significant amount of out-bound calls.
  • Document each activity in program specific database.
  • Participate and attend on-going refresher training and in specialized training courses for specific products or programs as deemed appropriate by the manager.
  • Provide feedback regarding current protocols, database, processes, and inter-departmental relationships.
  • Clear communication to manager, pod, and program trained colleagues regarding the management of cases during foreseen absences.
  • With the managers, participate in the training process of new caseworkers, including but not limited to shadowing & call monitoring.
  • Responsible to report all Adverse Events to the assigned units/departments
  • The Caseworker will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time

  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a two-year associate's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service
  • Bilingual (French/ English) is required

  • Experience in the medical and pharmaceutical field is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • The successful candidate may have daily contacts with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients or peers from cross-functional teams.

  • Superviser tous les aspects de la stratégie globale des études cliniques, notamment la planification des études, leur réalisation, leur surveillance et leur clôture
  • Veiller à ce que les études cliniques soient menées conformément au protocole approuvé, aux bonnes pratiques cliniques (BPC) et aux règlements applicables
  • Agir en tant que point de contact principal du Promoteur pour les Directeurs de Projet Internationaux des organismes de recherche sous contrat et les responsables fonctionnels mondiaux
  • Collaborer avec les gestionnaires de projets cliniques pour traduire les objectifs de recrutement mondiaux en plans d'exécution propres au pays
  • Rédiger et réviser les plans et les protocoles des études ainsi que les documents qui s’y rattachent, tout en supervisant le choix des centres de recherche, les évaluations de faisabilité et l’élaboration du matériel d’étude
  • Veiller à ce que les études respectent les exigences réglementaires et les normes d’éthique, prendre en charge les inspections réglementaires et les audits, puis mettre en place des mesures correctives, le cas échéant
  • Élaborer et gérer des échéanciers de projet, des étapes clés et des budgets, et veiller à la réalisation des livrables dans le respect du budget et des délais convenus
  • Repérer les risques possibles pour les études, élaborer des stratégies de réduction des risques et résoudre les problèmes de façon proactive
  • Superviser la collecte des données dans le cadre des études cliniques, leur analyse et leur présentation, en veillant à l’intégrité et à la qualité des données, à leur manipulation appropriée et au respect des règlements sur la protection des données
  • Veiller au bien-être et à la sécurité des participants aux études cliniques par l’application des lignes directrices sur la déclaration des effets indésirables et par une réponse rapide à toute préoccupation liée à l’innocuité
