Our client is a leading construction company in Blainville, recognized for its large-scale projects in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Thanks to steady growth and an exceptional reputation, this company offers exciting opportunities for experienced professionals.

Responsabilités:

Opening a submission file
Estimating a project from A to Z (Master all stages of a project. From receiving the invitation to submitting to the client)
Knowing the different trades and being able to target and transmit the work according to their respective disciplines and the tender documents
Estimating overhead costs, such as insurance, permits, site security, project management fees, and other administrative costs
Analyzing architectural drawings, engineering plans, and specifications to understand the project and its technical requirements
Identifying technical details and necessary materials
Determining the quantities of materials to be used and their unit cost
Evaluating the costs of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors required for the project
Preparing bids or proposals for clients based on cost estimates
Writing detailed estimates by project division
Calculating the costs of purchasing or renting necessary equipment (cranes, concrete mixers, scaffolding, etc.)
Obtaining and analyzing subcontractor quotes for specialized work (plumbing, electricity, ventilation, etc.), integrating these costs into the overall estimate
Comparing prices and conditions offered to optimize subcontractor choice
Identifying potential risks (e.g., delays, material price fluctuations, unforeseen site conditions) and providing safety margins in estimates
Being able to prepare preliminary schedules to determine risks
Collaborating with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure the schedule is realistic and achievable
Preparing a complete offer detailing estimated costs for each phase of the project, including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead costs

Exigences:

BAC or DEC related to the construction field (AEC estimation, DEP building drawing, BAC construction engineering, etc.)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction estimation role
ASP card
