Responsabilités:

Mechanical design and modeling: Model and design new electronic products (catalog or customized) using CAD software (Solid Edge, an asset)
Conduct tests and prototypes to validate concepts and produce deliverable versions
Review 3D models, BOMs, and assembly drawings of products
Review 3D, BOMs, and assembly drawings of catalog products
Design and manufacture production equipment
Production and support: Follow up on design until production (information transfer, answering questions, problem-solving)
Complementary tasks (depending on skills and interests): Design of simple printed circuits (PCB) with Altium
Programming and use of CNC machines (CAM, Fusion 360)
Maintenance of machines (CNC, conventional, 3D printers)
Management of workshop equipment, tools, and materials
Development of programming scripts
Creation or validation of assembly procedures

Exigences:

DEC or BAC in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
Knowledge in CAD, Solid Edge an asset
Knowledge in CAM, Fusion 360 an asset
Ability to use CNC or conventional machine tools
Creativity and innovative spirit
Rigor and attention to detail
Ability to work in a team
Adaptability
Autonomy

Souhaitable:

Knowledge in PCB design with Altium
