The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Cabin Senior Designer to join our Product Development team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the Airbus Cabin Development team based In Germany. You will be part of the Product Development team responsible for developing all new Cabin Products. Your role as Cabin Senior Designer will be responsible for developing all Complex Designs from an interface drawing point of view to GD&T decisions. You will be involved in Cabin Development orientation decisions. You must be able to manage all drawings produced by our external company.
Responsabilités
Participate in the creation of complex interface control datasets, concept definition datasets, installations & options datasets, etc. for the A220 cabin projects
Interpret and implement industry regulatory requirements and design practices and guiding the entire team on standards to apply
Coordinate and guide the external suppliers mandated to create drawings
Participate in the resolution of engineering problems
Animate multi-functional team design reviews including reviews with suppliers
Ensure being in control of the overall drawing planning. Provide a clear communication link between all parties involved in plan execution
Provide input to engineering processes’ improvements internally and with the external suppliers also responsible for drawing creation.
Exigences
You hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or Industrial design
You have a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience
You have strong CAD experience with Catia V5/Enovia
You have strong experience with configuration management
You have experience on GD&T
You have capability in Google Products and have the ability to learn new tool sets as required
You must have the ability to be self-directed and work with diverse teams
You must have strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
You have excellent organizational skills, with ability to plan and hold effective meetings
The ability to work under time pressure and meet demanding schedules is essential.

Experience on A220 processes and tools is an asset
Experience working in international teams is an asset.
