RENAPS is currently looking for a Database Administrator to join our Center of Excellence team. RENAPS is a provider of Information Technology solutions and consulting services. We offer a complete portfolio ranging from professional consulting, to infrastructure, to application management, across a wide range of industries in Canada, the United States and abroad.

Exigences:

In-depth expertise with MS SQL Server DBMS
Disaster recovery (DR) strategies
High availability (HA) with Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering (FCI), Log shipping, Database Mirroring
Mastery of how 'publisher → distributor → subscriber' replication works for monitoring and performance
SQL Server on Azure (SQL Azure)
Backup and recovery methods
Expertise in data warehousing and performance optimization
Mastery of performance analysis tools such as sp_Blitz, sp_WhoIsActive, QueryStore, Wait Stats, Extended Events
Experience with SSRS / SSIS / SSAS infrastructure optimization
Certificate management and security such as Security Principal Identifier (SPI)
Oracle database administration skills are also required
Excellent communication skills in French, both oral and written

Souhaitable:

Experience with monitoring via Zabbix and/or Dynatrace would be a strong asset
Experience with Commvault backup tool would be a strong asset
