Senior Buyer: Marketing Procurement

• Manage global marketing sub-categories such as call centers and related global suppliers
• analyze procurement markets on national, regional and international levels
• negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers
• lead project management initiatives involving strategic planning and implementation of tenders
• manage supplier relationships, contracts, KPIs, and feedback sessions
• collaborate with Allianz Business teams to identify opportunities for performance improvement and cost savings
• apply both classic and agile project management methods

• Master's degree in a commercial or technical field
• marketing or business studies are advantageous
• experience in engaging Allianz Operating Entities (OEs) to collaboratively fulfill Group Procurement and overarching targets
• autonomous work style with strong collaboration and team orientation
• capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines
• proven ability to work in complex, international teams with excellent analytical, strategic, and management skills
• hands-on approach
• excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
• proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Ariba, or similar procurement tools
• strong negotiation skills
• minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing procurement for an international company or in global project management within a matrix organization
• strong understanding of procurement processes (e.g. procure-to-pay)
