The Mechanical Supervisor (MES) supervises the General Construction Contractor (GCC) activities for their own discipline, ensuring that the Construction works are performed according to the erection schedules and Project documents, within the assigned cost budget, and according to Quality & Safety procedures, as well subcontract.

Responsabilidades:

Supervises the General Construction Contractor (GCC) activities for their own discipline
Ensures Construction works are performed according to erection schedules and Project documents
Ensures works are within the assigned cost budget
Ensures works are according to Quality & Safety procedures
Check VENDOR’s material and technical documentation delivery schedule prior to start of works
Control and approve the Method Statements submitted by GCC prior to start of works
Check that the schedule is updated and promote action to recover any delay
Check that equipment and manpower employed by GCC are adequate
Check that works performed by GCC conform to design documents, Safety regulations, and Quality level
Detect any design errors, and where possible rectify or request changes
Check GCC’s work progress status sheets and sign for approval
Manage VENDOR specialists

Requisitos:

Relevant experience in oil & gas, industrial sector, EPC projects and Refinery
At least 3 years of experience in this specific discipline
Similar role covered in last three projects, of comparable size
Native Spanish speaker
Excellent IT and analytical skills
Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills
Attention to details
Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
Legally authorized to work in Chile
