This role is an excellent entry point into the world of international trade, customs, and compliance within a global healthcare company. Whether you are a recent graduate or at the beginning of your career, this position offers hands‑on exposure, structured learning, and strong mentoring in a complex international environment. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Trade & Customs Strategy and Solutions, you will support day‑to‑day import/export and trade compliance activities across the EMEA region. You will work closely with the EMEA team of experienced trade compliance professionals and external partners, progressively building your knowledge of customs regulations, processes, and systems, while contributing to reliable and compliant global operations. This is a learning and growth oriented role, with increasing responsibility as your skills and confidence grow.
Responsabilidades:
Support daily import and export compliance activities for Baxter entities across EMEA
Assist with the preparation and review of customs documentation and import/export filings
Help monitor compliance with customs, trade and other regulatory requirements
Support data checks, transaction reviews and basic audits, escalating issues when needed
Contribute to the maintenance and update of internal procedures and documentation
Assist with customs-related authorisations and programmes (e.g. AEO, REX, IPR), as applicable
Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Participate in regional projects, process improvements and standardisation initiatives
Support the team in responding to requests from customs authorities or internal audits
Requisitos:
A degree in international trade, logistics, supply chain, business, law, economics or a related field
First exposure to customs, logistics or international trade through internships, apprenticeships or entry‑level roles is a plus, but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn complex regulations and processes
A structured, organised and reliable working style
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate in an international environment
Fluency in French and English (additional European languages are a plus)
A proactive mindset, curiosity, and an interest in global operations and compliance
Deseable:
Knowledge in: classification, import/export process, CBAM, EIDR, customs compliance and audit is a good to have
