The Data Science Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role that applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. The position focuses on leveraging Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for strategies focused on Consumer Loan use cases within the Data and Analysis Center of Excellence.

Responsabilidades:

Conduct strategic data analysis, identify insights and implications and make strategic recommendations, develop data displays that clearly communicate complex analysis
Mine and analyze data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality
Deliver analytics initiatives to address business problems with the ability to determine data required, assess time & effort required and establish a project plan
Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications
Lead system change process from requirements through implementation
Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects through research and fact-finding
Drive communication between business leaders and IT
Train and inspire new team members to acquire technical skills and deep knowledge of area requirements

Requisitos:

5-8 years experience in business and data analysis, process improvement and project management
Ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem solving techniques
Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Methodical attention to detail
Experience using tools for statistical modeling of large data sets
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
5-8 years proven experience using tools for statistical analysis and/or modeling of large data sets with Python, PySpark, Hive and SAS

Deseable:

Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Cognos, etc.
Experience in development and implementation of long and complex projects, participating with different areas such as Business, Risk, Control and Technology
