Asistente de compras position at W Punta de Mita, responsible for inventory management, purchasing processes, and maintaining food safety standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Responsabilidades:

Calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs
Maintain clear and organized records for reports and invoices
Post invoices using computer programs
Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs
Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels
Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports
Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports for count accuracy
Receive, unload, and process deliveries
Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items
Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee return process
Adhere to food safety and handling policies
Monitor PAR levels for all food items

Requisitos:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
Ability to calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs
Ability to maintain clear and organized records
Ability to post invoices using computer programs
Ability to conduct inventory audits
Ability to complete requisition forms
Ability to verify and track received inventory
Ability to reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports
Ability to receive, unload, and process deliveries
Adherence to food safety and handling policies
Ability to monitor PAR levels for food items
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

Deseable:

No supervisory experience required
None license or certification required
