As a Zugverkehrssteuerer, you will work in the signal box, navigating train traffic to ensure safe, punctual, and smooth train operations. The position is part of a retraining program for career changers, combining theoretical and practical training.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

navigate train traffic from the signal box
set routes (track, switches, signals) for trains
ensure safe departure, e.g., from a station
monitor operations in stations
communicate and coordinate with colleagues in the signal box, train drivers, and control centers

Anforderungen:

successfully completed vocational training, e.g., as a retail salesman, restaurant specialist, bakery salesperson, or office clerk
basic PC skills
ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in demanding situations
teamwork and willingness to take responsibility
willingness to work shifts (night, weekend, holiday work)
