Jobbeschreibung:

Quereinsteiger position for retraining as Zugverkehrssteuerer (train traffic controller). Working in signal boxes to navigate train traffic and ensure safe, punctual and smooth train operations. Full-time retraining program with theoretical and practical components.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Controlling train traffic from signal boxes using levers, push buttons and rotary switches
Setting up routes (track route, switches, signals) for trains and ensuring safe departure
Monitoring operations in stations
Communicating and coordinating with colleagues in signal boxes, locomotive drivers and control centers

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of vocational training (e.g., retail salesperson, restaurant specialist, bakery salesperson, office clerk or comparable vocational training)
Basic PC skills
Ability to remain calm and maintain overview in demanding situations
Team skills and willingness to take responsibility
Willingness to work shifts (night, weekend, holiday work) and flexibility
