Jobbeschreibung:

3-year apprenticeship as a railway worker in train traffic control for DB InfraGO AG at the Großkorbetha or Merseburg location. The vocational school is located in Schkeuditz (near Leipzig). The apprenticeship trains you to become a coordinator of our trains, working in a control center (called 'signal box') where you monitor and influence train movements via screens, buttons, and levers. You will be in constant contact with locomotive drivers and ensure safe and punctual train rides for passengers.

Coordinate trains in a control center
Monitor trains in the area via screens or boards
Influence train movement via buttons, keys, and levers
Set signals to green or red
Switch tracks
Maintain constant contact with locomotive drivers
Ensure safe and punctual train rides for passengers

Anforderungen:

School diploma recognized in Germany
German language skills at least B2 level
Ability to remain calm and maintain overview in demanding situations
Willingness to take responsibility and work concentrated
Teamwork and reliability
Willingness to work in shifts
