Jobbeschreibung:

As a train traffic controller, you will observe and manage train operations using technical support, such as screens and display boards. You decide when trains stop, move or overtake, operate switches and signals, and communicate with train drivers. After completing your initial training, you may further qualify for advanced roles such as infrastructure planning, sales, and operations management.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Get familiar with working on a signal box and gain an overview of handling train journeys
Learn and operate different signaling techniques
Understand rules and regulations for the scheduled execution of daily train journeys
Acquire expertise to ensure safe and smooth rail traffic in your area
Take responsibility for switches and signals, and thus for passengers and trains.

Anforderungen:

You have (soon) successfully completed your (technical) high school diploma, and your school qualification is recognized in Germany
You remain calm and keep an overview in demanding situations
You like to take responsibility and make decisions
Your concentrated and reliable working method distinguishes you
You bring communication skills and team spirit.
